Medical Malpractice

Medical Malpractice claims are not always valid with every medical injury and they do not always provide a basis for a medical malpractice law claim. To establish your health care provider's liability, you must have expert medical malpractice testimony that no reasonable health care provider would have done what yours did and that your health care provider's negligence was a cause of injury or death. If you establish liability, then you are generally entitled to medical malpractice damages. Additionally, you must file your lawsuit with a malpractice attorney or a malpractice lawyer within the statutory time period or "statute of limitations" established by state medical malpractice law for medical malpractice claims. Please read on regarding medical malpractice to find a medical malpractice attorney, medical malpractice lawyer or access more information.

A fall while a patient in the hospital.
My 77 year old father was recently in the hospital for low blood pressure while he was there they removed his Gall Bladder. He fell while in there. He woke in the middle of the night confused thinking he was at home to go to the bathroom, got up and reached for the door. He lost his balance and fell backwards. He tried to stop himself with his left hand, but did not succeed. He landed on his back and his head. They took x-rays of his hand and said there was no apparent fracture in the hand and left it at that, they said they did not see any bump on his head, when in fact everyone that saw him the next morning could see a know and bruise. They did not notify the family as to his fall, not even when we went in to see him, we found out about it when we got there from him. He was released the next day. When I took him to see his doctor for his follow up she sent for another x-ray and found that he in fact does have a couple of fractures and sent him to an orthopedic doctor
How do I know if my doc did my surgery correctly?
I had rotator cuff surgery June 2011 and had to have it done again May 2012. My current doc showed me video of my surgery and explained that my last doc just left sutures "hanging". They either appeared to have never been knotted or incorrectly knotted. There are extenuatating circumstances too long to put in this email, but is this something I should be addressing legally?
