Medical Malpractice

Medical Malpractice claims are not always valid with every medical injury and they do not always provide a basis for a medical malpractice law claim. To prove malpractice, i.e., to establish your health care provider's liability, you must have expert medical malpractice testimony that no reasonable health care provider would have done what yours did and that your health care provider's negligence was a cause of injury or death. If you establish liability, then you are entitled to medical malpractice damages. Additionally, you must file your lawsuit with a malpractice attorney or a malpractice lawyer within the statutory time period or "statute of limitations" established by state medical malpractice law for medical malpractice claims. Please read on regarding medical malpractice to find a medical malpractice attorney, medical malpractice lawyer or access more information.

Baby Injured During C-Section And Repair

My daughter was delivered via a C-Section. During the delivery my daughter was cut pretty deep on her hip stretching across her buttock. The doctor told me they would contact a plastic surgeon to take a look so they put a wet cloth on the cut and put a diaper on her. Several hours passed. Upset, I called and at that time they said the plastic surgeon would be in the next morning.

The next day I come to the hospital and my wife tells me no one has done ANYTHING with this cut so we wait longer and longer finally I call and talk to someone in charge and I get a little nasty. After 30 minutes of ending my call the plastic surgeon shows up; it is now 3 PM the next day so about 30 hrs have passed since delivery. He decides he will put a liquid in the cut and paste it back together, puts a diaper back on the baby. Two to three hours pass and I change my daughter but I cannot take the diaper off - it has attached it self to the cut and the adhesive. I call the nurse they peel the diaper off it completely reopens the cut its all red and infected looking at this point, they say they are going to call plastic surgeon to advise them what to do, They cant get a hold of him so the nurse just decides to put a big clear bandage looking thing on the cut to keep it together and they throw a diaper back on her.

Every time anyone gets close to this cut my daughter is SCREAMING IN PAIN. There is no way this will not scar. I have pictures of everything I described.
